Special Issue Policy
Special issues of TAMILIYAL are subject to the same standards of scholarly quality, editorial integrity and peer review as regular issues.
Guest Editors
Guest editors may assist with:
- Theme development
- Manuscript solicitation
- Reviewer recommendations
- Scholarly coordination
The Editor-in-Chief retains overall editorial responsibility for the journal, including special issues.
Peer Review
Special-issue articles must undergo the journal’s prescribed independent peer-review process.
Conflicts of Interest
Guest editors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest and must not control decisions where a conflict exists.
Labelling
Special issues will be clearly identified on the website and in published metadata.
Accelerated Review
Where an accelerated review schedule is offered, the same standards of scholarly evaluation will apply. A shorter timeline must not compromise review quality or editorial independence.
