Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy

Tamiliyal is a fully open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed research journal. To support the costs associated with editorial management, peer review administration, article production, DOI registration, and online publication, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of INR 1,000 (Indian Rupees) per accepted article.

What the APC Covers

The APC covers the following services:

Editorial handling and manuscript processing
Administration of the double-blind peer-review process
Article formatting and publication preparation
Final online publication
Crossref DOI registration and activation
Open-access hosting of the published article
Article metadata preparation and online discoverability
Long-term availability of the published article on the journal platform

When is the APC Charged?

The APC is charged only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. No APC is required at the time of submission, and authors are not required to pay any fee to have their manuscript considered for peer review.

Editorial Independence

Payment of an APC does not influence editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, or acceptance of a manuscript. Acceptance is based solely on the journal’s editorial criteria and peer-review process.

Authors are informed of the APC and applicable terms before publication. The journal does not impose mandatory additional publication charges beyond the stated APC unless such charges are clearly communicated and agreed upon in advance.

Rejection and Withdrawal

If a manuscript is rejected during editorial screening or peer review, no APC is payable.

If an author withdraws a manuscript before acceptance, no APC is payable. After acceptance, any withdrawal or publication-related matter will be handled according to the journal’s applicable editorial policies.

Open Access and Copyright

All published articles are made immediately and permanently available online without subscription, registration, or embargo.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright of their published work, subject to the terms of the applicable publishing agreement.

Reader access is free of charge; the APC is an author-side publication charge and is not a fee for access to the journal’s content.

‘தமிழியல்’ முழுமையான திறந்த அணுகல் மற்றும் இரட்டை மறைமுறை வல்லுநர் மதிப்பாய்வு முறையைப் பின்பற்றும் ஆய்விதழாகும். பதிப்பாசிரியர் நிர்வாகம், மதிப்பாய்வு செயல்முறை, கட்டுரைத் தயாரிப்பு, DOI பதிவு மற்றும் இணையவழி வெளியீடு உள்ளிட்ட பதிப்பகச் சேவைகளுக்கான செலவுகளை ஆதரிப்பதற்காக, வெளியீட்டிற்கு ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படும் ஒவ்வொரு ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைக்கும் ரூ.1,000/- (இந்திய ரூபாய்) கட்டுரை செயலாக்கக் கட்டணம் (APC) வசூலிக்கப்படுகிறது.

APC எப்போது வசூலிக்கப்படும்?

ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரை வெளியீட்டிற்கு முறையாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட பின்னரே APC வசூலிக்கப்படும். கட்டுரை சமர்ப்பிக்கும் போது எந்த APC கட்டணமும் தேவையில்லை. வல்லுநர் மதிப்பாய்விற்கு கட்டுரையை அனுப்புவதற்காக ஆசிரியர் எந்தக் கட்டணமும் செலுத்த வேண்டியதில்லை.

பதிப்பாசிரியர் சுதந்திரம்

APC செலுத்துவது பதிப்பாசிரியர் முடிவு, வல்லுநர் மதிப்பாய்வு முடிவு அல்லது கட்டுரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுதல் ஆகியவற்றில் எந்தவித தாக்கத்தையும் ஏற்படுத்தாது. ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகள் இதழின் கல்வியியல் தரநிலைகள் மற்றும் வல்லுநர் மதிப்பாய்வு முடிவுகளின் அடிப்படையில் மட்டுமே மதிப்பிடப்பட்டு ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுகின்றன.

APC மற்றும் அதனுடன் தொடர்புடைய விதிமுறைகள் வெளியீட்டிற்கு முன் ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு தெளிவாகத் தெரிவிக்கப்படும். குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட APC-க்கு அப்பாற்பட்ட கட்டாயக் கட்டணங்கள் எதுவும் வசூலிக்கப்படாது; ஏதேனும் கூடுதல் கட்டணம் இருந்தால், அது முன்கூட்டியே தெளிவாகத் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டு ஆசிரியரின் ஒப்புதலுடன் மட்டுமே வசூலிக்கப்படும்.

நிராகரிப்பு மற்றும் கட்டுரைத் திரும்பப் பெறுதல்

ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரை பதிப்பாசிரியர் ஆரம்ப மதிப்பீடு அல்லது வல்லுநர் மதிப்பாய்வின் போது நிராகரிக்கப்பட்டால், APC செலுத்த வேண்டியதில்லை.

ஆசிரியர் கட்டுரையை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவதற்கு முன்பு திரும்பப் பெற்றால், APC வசூலிக்கப்படாது. ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்ட பின்னர் கட்டுரைத் திரும்பப் பெறுதல் அல்லது வெளியீடு தொடர்பான விவகாரங்கள், இதழின் நடைமுறையில் உள்ள பதிப்பாசிரியர் கொள்கைகளின்படி கையாளப்படும்.

திறந்த அணுகல் மற்றும் பதிப்புரிமை

வெளியிடப்படும் அனைத்து ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகளும் சந்தா, பதிவு அல்லது Embargo காலம் இன்றி உடனடியாகவும் நிரந்தரமாகவும் இலவசமாக இணையத்தில் கிடைக்கும்.

அனைத்து கட்டுரைகளும் Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) உரிமத்தின் கீழ் வெளியிடப்படும். வெளியிடப்பட்ட ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகளின் பதிப்புரிமை ஆசிரியர்களிடமே தொடரும்; இது தொடர்புடைய வெளியீட்டு ஒப்பந்தத்தின் விதிமுறைகளுக்கு உட்பட்டதாகும்.

வாசகர்களுக்கான அணுகல் இலவசமானது; APC என்பது ஆசிரியர்களிடமிருந்து வசூலிக்கப்படும் வெளியீட்டுச் செயலாக்கக் கட்டணமாகும்; இதழின் உள்ளடக்கத்தை அணுகுவதற்கான கட்டணம் அல்ல.
